Individualized instruction in voice and piano for students of all ages. My music studio is a relaxed, wholesome, and comfortable environment for musicians and vocalists to grow in their musical abilities. I use an individualized approach to teaching based on the student’s interests, various music genres, and lesson curricula to inspire and develop musical skills.
New families receive a complimentary consultation; contact me by email or phone to schedule. Current students can register to reserve a lesson time with a non-refundable registration fee and signed policy. If you choose to study with me, reserve your time in my teaching schedule with a non-refundable registration fee, signed policy, and completed application form. The registration fee ($45) cover initial teaching materials, studio lending books, activities, and music.
Each student receives individual 30-minute or 60-minute lessons. The 2023-2024 Fall/Spring semesters are designed and planned as a 36-week course of study based on a ten-month school year. Monthly tuition for an hour-lesson is $170 and half-hour lesson is $90 (monthly). Tuition payments are due on the first day of each month.
Tuition secures (1) your place in the studio, (2) the actual lesson time, and (3) the time preparing for the lesson. It also includes, but is not limited to:
Students agree to arrive at each lesson punctually, well-prepared, and with their assignment book and music. Tuition payments secure your place in the studio with a lesson time exclusively reserved each week; therefore, arriving on time gives us the entire length of your lesson.
The studio does not provide refunds or credits for lessons missed for any reason. The studio will, however, provide (1) make-up lesson slots per week, or (2) a short video coaching lesson uploaded or emailed. Please note: There is a limit of two make-up lessons per semester. Make-up slots are not given for non-emergency cancellations, last-minute cancellations, or “no-shows.” In the case of serious sickness or emergencies, I will consider another option to accommodate.
Student practice is essential for musical growth. I provide lesson notes to track their progress, practice time, and repertoire.
Recitals and performance opportunities provide an excellent opportunity to perform and grow as a musician. Students are encouraged to participate in recitals and other performance events.
Additional charges are added to the invoice for music, teaching materials, or lesson books as needed.
Termination of lessons occur in the event of irregular attendance, frequent failure to prepare assigned materials, disruptive behavior, repeatedly breaking studio policies, or non-payment. Discontinuation of lessons on your part requires a one-month paid notice to wrap up current projects and music goals.
